Ensuring adequate reception conditions in line with international standards

Since 2005, the UNHCR Offices in Central Europe in cooperation with governmental institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have conducted annual Participatory Assessments in the framework of the Age, Gender and Diversity Mainstreaming (AGDM) exercise. Every year, in focus discussion groups and individual meetings, teams of refugee workers listen to the complaints and suggestions of men and women and of boys and girls, who come from different backgrounds and have different needs. The resulting annual AGDM reports „Being a Refugee”can be downloaded below.
