Evidence suggests that HIV/Aids prevalence among refugees and asylum seekers in the Central European region is not high. This may be the reason why governments and NGOs in the region have not focused on awareness raising activities for that target audience so far. Hence, asylum seekers and refugees who are at risk of contracting the disease or who are affected already may find it hard to obtain information in languages accessible to them.
